“If you can’t figure it out on your own, I don’t need to give you a reason.”

Still in denial, I walk toward her until her back presses against the wall. My forearms rest on either side of her head. "I do, though You're my world, Meara. My reason. And without you nothing makes sense."

I’m fucking empty inside. I’m not even whole anymore. I’m a fragment of the man I used to be.” I rest

my forehead on hers and she closes her eyes. I lower my voice because I’m on the verge of breaking

down. “I can’t eat, can’t sleep, can’t function. My heart hurts, princess. It feels like it’s being torn in two

and I don’t know how much longer I can survive like this. I need to know what I did so I can fix this. Fix

us. I need to know you still love me as much as I love you. I need you, Meara. Christ, I can’t fucking

breathe without you.”

Her lids slowly open. Not all the way, only enough for her to glare at me. “Just because you’re a lyrical

genius doesn’t mean you can talk your way out of this.”

“I’m not writing a song. I’m telling you how I feel. How you know I feel about you. How I’ve always felt

about you. Please. What can I do? I’ll do anything, just talk to me. Please. Anything.” I don’t even know

what I’m begging for. Her forgiveness. Her trust. Her love. Any and all of it. I’ll take whatever she gives

me. I’m starved for her, and even if it’s only a crumb, if it’s from her, I’ll swallow it and ask for more.

Blog Tour : Anywhere With You

They say opposites attract. For Jack and Amelie, that statement is about as close to
the truth as it gets.

She runs from anything that so much smells like love. And, well, as for Jack, he's
always been a fan of the chase. Especially where she's concerned.

Which is exactly what happens when he proposes... to accompany her on a cross-
country road trip.

A bet is made. True to form, Jack puts everything on the table—while Amelie keeps
her cards tucked close to her heart.

The question remaining when it all shakes out—is whether it's possible they can
both win?

Will a road trip across the country finally teach them to meet in the middle? Or
simply drive them further apart?

This is the continuation of a love story that (like many) was never really over.

“What was I going to say? Do you remember how I was in bed? Because I am going to be ten times
better than that racing! I knew who you were because you are Easton Hunter. Not to feed your already much too large ego, but you’re a bad ass racer.”

“I’m glad you noticed… I am damn good.” Of course he isn’t going to keep his mouth shut. Not the only thing he is good at.

“Why I didn’t tell you about me is simple. Why would I? Would it have mattered?”

“Maybe.” He is starting to move in closer to me and I had to pull my eyes away from him by turning my head. He looked even better close up. Even better than he looked last night in the restaurant, even
better than in his race gear, and that was a hard one to beat. I had the sneaky suspicion he looked good in anything. I already knew he looked gorgeous naked.

I burst out laughing. “Give me a break Easton. We were looking for one thing last night and we both got what we wanted. It wouldn’t have mattered who I was.”

He didn’t answer but looked as if he was thinking hard on something.

I waited to see what else he was going to say. He never seemed lost for words.

“I was impressed with your racing today. Maybe you are going to be good enough to race me one day… maybe…” He states.

We were not even two feet away from each other and he moved in close to me. It was the first time I
could remember that I didn’t naturally want to step back. On the contrary, I wanted to move closer. I
didn’t fight my urge and moved in to him. And then we started to kiss like two horny teenagers that
hadn’t kissed before.

We started to kiss and his aggressiveness was turning me on. He wasn’t thinking before any of his
actions and I found myself dismissing my warning signs as well. This was not me, but it was a person screaming to get out. Just like last night when we met, and had unbelievable sex, the best sex I’d ever had might I add.

My hands were feeling for him and his just as hungry. The passion off our lips was on fire and we had both thrown caution out the window and then he stopped and pulled back showing he had more
restraint than I had. And then he returned to my lips and swooped me up off the ground cradling me as if he was about to take me to his bed. And I was hoping. Except we were outside of my motor coach.

And privacy was not something we were going to get.

I tried to pull back and he moved with me.

“Easton, even you said it would be one night… no commitment remember… and?”

“True.” He kept kissing me. “I know you’re trying to pull away from me but you can’t can you?” He asks.

He was right, and his confidence started to piss me off.

I pulled back further separating us and aching from the touch that I needed, the itch that needed to be
relieved and that I wouldn’t get released today.

“I’ve got to get to bed.” I tell him and he stands up straightening himself in his pants.

“I can come with you…” He tells me. I try to change my expression on my face to lead him to believe that it wasn’t what I was wanting which was the furthest from the truth. Hook me up to the lie detector and watch me fail horribly. I would surely be electrocuted.

“We both know that’s not a good idea” I tell him sternly. I bite my lip to keep from saying what I really wanted to say…

“Do you want to know a secret on how to win on the track Harper?”

I gulp. Is he really going to share information with me? “What?” I buy into his giving me advice.

“Watch me and observe. I’m good, and I bring my A game every day on the track.” He winks at me with a grin that could have melted my panties off me at this very moment.

EXCERPT

The sound of my phone chirping once again has me running back to the bed.

“Meet me in the restaurant downstairs? One hour?”

My heart falls to my feet. All the blood rushes to my head. This is it. One hour. In one hour. I pace back and forth, shoving my hair behind my ears, looking in the mirror, walking back to the window, staring at the view, knowing he’s somewhere out there in the darkness. I giggle again as I message him back.

“Okay.”

I laugh at the short and relatively calm message. Unlike me, a bag of nerves. All the talks we’ve had. All the intimate moments. All the sexual fantasies, desires, need. All those nights having to please myself after talking to him. All of it about to come true.

I need to get it together. If he knew I was out of control, for even a second, he’d stop it. Cancel
everything. I know he would. I have to keep it together. One night is all I have, and I need it. I need to take it back with me. To have in those dark, lonely nights.

After I bath and towel myself dry, I slowly slather my freshly shaved legs with shea butter then cover my entire body in the silky cream that smells of red peonies and vanilla. Within moments, I catch myself again visualizing his hands caressing me, falling under his spell his eyes lazily drink me in. When my hands linger between my thighs, I suck in a breath and stand, my wet hair teasing my skin as it trails down my back.

I wrap the towel around myself and make my way back to the bed, collapsing across it. Pushing away all the thoughts beginning to cloud my judgement, I unzip my suitcase and pull out my red lace panties and garter with matching bra. I smile as I let the satin fabric of the bra brush against my skin. He likes red.

He’s getting red. In the skimpiest of proportions.

Reaching for the dress I’d brought with me, I grin again, remembering how many stores I’d been to,
trying to find the perfect one. The little black dress that will make him weak in the knees or get his cock rising as soon as he sees me in it. That’s what I was going for. Store after store, dress after dress until I found the one that even got me wet when I saw my reflection in the mirror.

It’s a simple black dress—yet it nearly reveals my ass. It’s risqué, without a doubt. And perfect. After sliding it on, I position my breasts until they’re practically spilling out of the low-cut crisscross front and smirk devilishly.

After finishing my hair, letting the loose curls fall naturally, I gloss my lips with another coat of fuck-me red, spritz my favorite perfume between my breasts and across my neck, and stare at my reflection. The voice of reason tries to escape the shadows again, but sheer desire kicks her back into the dungeon. I
slide on my black stilettos with the red bottoms then grab my cell and keycard and make my way out the door.

Excerpt

“May I have this dance?” Mitch extended his hand to me after throwing his napkin
on his plate, and of course it was a twostep that came on.

I shoved out of my chair. “Why the heck not?”

The drinks had already started to go to my head as Mitch led me out onto the dance
floor. The tent that had been set up in the yard was magnificent. There were
twinkling lights strung up everywhere with a few chandeliers hanging about. The DJ
had put beautiful lighting around the space to give it a nice purple hue.

“Try not to step on the shoes, they’re rented,” Mitch teased as he started to push me
around.

I didn’t know if it was the alcohol or the wedding bliss that was swimming around,
but as I looked up at Mitch as he twirled me around, I saw him in a completely
different light. His dark hair, smoldering stare, chiseled jawline, beautiful tattoos,
and smile that could last for days—it was all stunning to me.

Before my mind could overanalyze what my heart was doing, I was grabbing Mitch’s
shirt and pulling his lips down to mine. Slowly, our lips connected. Smooth and soft
at first, the sweet kiss then turned into hunger and lust. My tongue explored his
mouth and his hand slid down my back to grip my ass.

Trying to catch his breath, Mitch pulled away from me. “Are you sure this is a good
idea?”

Once his words registered, I took a step back. “Probably not.”

Mitch hugged me to his side. “If we are ever going to hook up, I don’t want either of
us to be drunk when it happens.” He kissed my forehead and handed me off to Mags
as she swished over to me. “Want a drink?” Mitch looked at both of us as we nodded.

Release Day : Floured

Emily Barnes likes things measured and timed, just like any baker. When she loses
the apartment that she needs to run her home-based muffin business, she's faced
with a choice: couch surfing at her very loud best friends' separated by thin walls or
house sitting an otherwise empty Upper East Side luxury apartment overlooking
Central Park. Obviously it’s a no-brainer for this smart cookie.

Declan Hayes is used to people asking things of him and saying no. However, for
Maggie, his parent’s cook and housekeeper, he would do just about anything,
including going over to his parent’s apartment to check on her pseudo niece who is
staying there. His plan was to get in and get out, but the second he saw her,
something changed. Something about her sparked the normally cold and dismal
place to life; she made it warm and inviting. He finally understood the phrase
“there’s no place like home.”

Can Emily and Declan trust the timing of their lives or adjust the lens from which
they see them?

Hope, faith, trust and...love?

Will these things be enough for Emily and Declan to get the one thing they both
never thought they needed in life?

It’s a good thing they are “Floured” because life is about to get sticky.

EXCERPT

Aunt Maggie practically begged me to apartment-sit while she was in California for a
much-needed vacation. She said that I would be doing her a favor, but I was on to
her. She knew that I didn't like depending on other people; it was the main reason
that I moved as far away from my family as possible. It's not that I didn't love
them—because I did—I just didn't ever want to end up like my mother.

She depended on my father for everything. She gave up her life for him, and what did it
get her? After seventeen years of marriage, it got her nada, zip, zero, zilch. No, I
would never be that woman. My sister was headed down the exact same road, and
that's how I ended up in this mess in the first place. Once again, she got involved
with the wrong guy. If I had a dollar for every time she said, “He's the one,” I would
be rich. It wasn’t that they weren't both smart and beautiful women; it was just that
they both seemed to still believe in white knights and happily ever afters. I used to
see my father that way, but when he traded in my mother for a younger model and
left my sister and me behind without a backward glance, it made me see things
differently very quickly.

Now, I chose to believe that I am the master of my own fate.
I could save myself, thank you very much. Besides, who ever said I needed to be
saved? This was just a bump in the road, a little setback, a wrinkle in time. You know
what they say, that which doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. When one door closes,
another one opens.

Maggie is not really my aunt, but my mom and she had been best friends since junior
high. I was closer to her than I was my actual aunt, and I knew she would do
anything for me, including asking her employer to allow me to stay in their home
while they were traveling in Europe, and she was on the other side of the country.
She was the housekeeper and cook for a very prominent couple, and from the sound
of it they spent more time traveling than they did at home.

Most people would
probably take advantage of the situation, but not Maggie. She was one of the most
trustworthy people I knew. She had worked for them for years and was desperate to
set me up with their son. She assured me that he had his own apartment and rarely
visited his mother and father. I’d read articles about him in the business journal; he
was very successful and had done great things to expand the family business since
taking it over, but I had no interest in dating; I didn’t have time for it. I’d never even
been to the apartment before, but based on the posh Upper East Side address, I
knew it would be nice.

I closed the door to the apartment with my giant fake designer purse slung over my
shoulder, my suitcase rolling behind me, and headed to the subway station. At least I
would be able to save some money for a new place while I stayed at the deluxe
apartment in the sky. Don’t judge me, you sang that line too. I got off at Seventy-
Seventh Street and walked the quarter mile from the station to the building.

“Good afternoon, Miss.” I almost lost it when the doorman greeted me in his green
uniform jacket with the matching captain’s hat. Why did my grandmother subject
me and Libby to watching reruns of the Jefferson’s when we were kids? I began to
panic, hoping I had some cash in my purse, because if this guy was anything like
Ralph he surely would be expecting a tip.

“Miss Barnes, I presume,” he said as he followed me into the opulent lobby after
holding the door open for me. How did he know who I was? He must have seen
the concern in my eyes. “Not to worry, Miss Maggie said we should be expecting
you.” Something about the way he said Maggie’s name made me wonder if something
was going on between the two. “That and we don’t see a lot of residents arriving
on foot pulling their own luggage behind them,” he said with a bright smile that
instantly made me feel at ease.

"Oh, right."

"I'm Billy. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Barnes." He offered me his hand, but
instead of shaking mine, he raised it to his lips and kissed the back of it. I couldn't
help but blush at the sweet older man. I hope I'm right about him and Maggie; they
would be adorable together.

"And they say chivalry is dead, Billy. Please, call me Emily."

"Very well, Emily. Welcome. Here is the key to the apartment, fourteenth floor; just
use it to operate the elevator. All the arrangements have been made with Eastern
Express. They will be here in the morning, and I believe you will find all of your
deliveries already upstairs. If you need anything, just press nine on the house phone,
and it will ring my desk."

I entered the elevator and inserted my key that allowed me access to the fourteenth
floor. Wow, okay, so I might not have believed in fairy tales anymore, but the
apartment was magical. The elevator opened straight into an elegant gallery that led
into the formal living room which boasted high ceilings, crown moldings, hardwood
floors, and views of Central Park that were to die for. The room was impeccably
decorated—it looked like something you would see in a magazine.
I dropped my bags, raised my arms out, and began to spin around in circles like
a little girl. To my right was a formal dining room; I could only imagine all the
beautiful people thathad sat at the long table under the massive crystal chandelier.

On the other side of the living room was a library with an enormous desk and floor
to ceiling bookshelves filled with hardbound books—the room shared that same
magnificent view of the park as the living room. I felt like an intruder as I began
to explore the apartment for a bedroom. Maggie had insisted that I stay in the
main apartment rather than her quarters.

What I could only imagine was the master bedroom was
right next to the library. Beveled antique mirrors flanked the tufted headboard. I
couldn’t help but run my hand over the luxurious matelassé bedding. The room
boasted a closet that was probably bigger than my old apartment. No way was I
sleeping in there. The next room I entered was dark and very masculine. It had
navy-blue walls and rich mahogany furniture. I felt a bit like Goldilocks when I sat
on the bed and decided that it was too firm. I continued down the hall and found
another bedroom. It, of course, was beautiful, but I decided to keep on looking.
A giant family room was next. In comparison to the elegance of the rest of the
apartment, it felt the most casual, the most like home.

Don’t get me wrong, the television was the biggest one I’d ever seen and the brown
leather furniture was clearly expensive, but it looked like you could get comfy under
the cashmere blanket that hung off the back of the sofa. Just off the family room was
an average sized bedroom. The room felt like a garden with linens that were printed
with blossoms and birds in pink and green. The room was just right. A set of stairs
led up to Maggie’s apartment that was beautiful in its own right. It was a complete
one-bedroom apartment, and I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw a collage of
photos of Libby and me throughout the years. I returned downstairs and entered the kitchen.

It was my dream come true; a baker’s delight with granite counter tops that were
perfect for rolling out dough and commercial-grade stainless steel appliances. I
nearly fainted when I saw the two side-by-side double ovens. Maybe I had died and
gone to heaven. Inside the pantry, I found all of the supplies that Billy had said were
delivered. I was so excited to begin baking that I ran to my earlier abandoned
luggage and into my room to change my clothes.

About The Author

I never thought that I would write a novel, although my English teacher my
freshman year in college told me that he would hunt me down if I wasn’t published
by the time I was thirty. Well, thirty came and went. I was busy being a wife and
working mother of two, and nobody came looking for me.

I doubt my sister thought she was about to change my life forever when she got me a
book of “mommy porn” for my birthday in 2012, but that’s exactly what she did.
After reading the first book in the trilogy, I rushed out and got the other two books. I
became obsessed and read the series several times before learning about Fanfiction.
Apparently, I wasn’t the only one who couldn’t get enough. The idea fascinated me
and I thought, “I can do that.” I was a nervous wreck when I posted my first story, a
one shot about my new favorite couple. One story lead to another and then another.
My readers encouraged me to write something that was all mine, so that‘s what I
did. Thank you to everyone who told me that I could do it. It wouldn’t have been
possible without you.

I love reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with my family.  Thank you for
going on this journey with me.

Release Day : Lessons Of The Past

They say karma is a bitch.
And I'd agree--I had lived it.

I had an affair with a married man...who also happened to be my professor. I
couldn't stop it, couldn't control it. The only problem was that, I, of course, wanted
more, and he couldn't give it to me.

Life moved on, I thought I'd moved on, but karma came back and destroyed it all.
My husband fell in love with his secretary, and I was left trying to figure out if love
was even real.

I wanted to believe it was. I was almost positive I never stopped loving the one man
I couldn't have. But...what if I could have him? What if he wasn't as off-limits as I had
thought?

EXCERPT

Our food came and we continued talking. I had just taken a bite of enchilada covered
in sour cream when I saw them through the arched window. My breathing stopped,
my gut felt like it had been punched.

Javier was sitting at a table with his wife and daughter. His family. I couldn’t look
away. I watched him talking to his daughter, watched them laugh. Watched as Amy
placed her hand on his upper arm in a way that said they were intimate, not
estranged.

He leaned across the table and said something else to Caroline and they both
laughed again. The real kicker came when he grabbed Amy’s hand. It was as if I was
watching a train wreck.

Had he been playing me?

He directs us on a narrow path towards a huge barn. I hesitate. “Are we headed to
that barn, because you do realize I’m wearing heels, don’t you? Very beautiful pink
stiletto heels with Swarovski crystals? I’m not prepared to show off my farming
skills this evening.”

Jase’s eyes drop to my heels as I lift up the hem of my dress for him to get a better
look. I can barely balance myself standing here. How can I possibly walk down a
grassy unknown path?

He stops in his tracks. “I thought you might be tougher than that. Well, hop on then.”

“Excuse me?” Did I hear that right? Honestly, I guess I would like to hop on any part
of him.

I have to find a way to stop these wayward thoughts about him, so I repeat my
mantra—worst best man ever, arrogant, out of my league, and I add a new one, Luke.
Just his name should be enough for me to run from another man.

Jase cocks his gorgeous head to the side and nods, “Come on, climb on.”

“I’m not climbing on.” I’m having enough of a reaction to Jase without bodily contact.
I’m afraid that having my legs wrapped around him will cause me to overload. “I’ll
just take my shoes off.”

I bend down to take them off when he says, “Well, you can, but I’m not sure what
you’ll step in if you do. My uncle loves cows and horses, not to mention, I’ve seen my
fair share of snakes.”

“Okay, okay, I get it.” Ugh. I guess that’s one way to get my legs around him. “Be
gentle, but if you drop me, I’m kicking your ass!”

He lets out a breath, “Just get on. I promise I’ll be good.”

Excerpt

She gave him a nervous laugh… Did he make her nervous? Of course he did. Just look
at him—he was six and a half feet of walking, talking sex. And that dream! She
couldn’t get it out of her head and sitting on the picnic table like she had, watching
him, hoping he would drop to his knees and reenact it…it was almost too much.

“No, you don’t make me nervous at all.” Lying was her only safe
answer. She dropped her gaze to their entwined hands. She had never held hands
with anyone, yet, with Roth, it seemed like the most natural thing in the world.

“I dreamed of you last night.” His thumb circled the soft skin of her hand as they
walked, and he waited for her reply.

Her voice shook as she spoke. Had he just said he dreamed of her last night? “Did
you? I hope it was a good dream."

“It was the best I’ve ever had.”

“Really? What was is about?” He had more than her curiosity piqued.

“I’m not a kiss and tell kinda guy,” he joked.

Abby knocked her hip into his, knocking him off balance as they walked. “Oh,
really? So it was a kissing dream about me. Very interesting. I thought you said you
had a dream about eating your favorite meal

“Oh, I ate.”

He playfully swayed his hip, knocking her back, but before she could stumble, he had
her in his arms, exactly where she had wanted to be. Even though she knew what
she was feeling was wrong, she couldn’t help what he brought out in her.

She loved this new side of Roth; it almost seemed playful. The smile on his face as he
looked down at her and their easy banter was a stark contrast to the lethal
presence he gave off and the deep passion she saw in those gunmetal eyes.

In his arms, she had to strain her neck to look up at him. She could feel the rapid
beat of his heart as he held her, and her tongue darted out of her mouth,
running along her lower lip. Again, her mind thought of how good his lips had felt on
hers when Laird had nearly caught them. And today, out here in the woods, they
were alone, no one to stop them.

About The Author

She currently lives in Western Massachusetts and has a love for adventure that
makes her who she truly is. As an avid mountain climber & hiker it is not unusual for
her to be hanging off of a 5.9 in the Adirondacks or the Shawangunk Mountain
ranges. During the off-season of climbing, also known as winter, she attends the
New England Center for Circus Arts where she studied static trapeze (think Cirque
rather than Circus).

She’s an only child so has her mother to thank for her over active imagination and
knack for storytelling. Over the years she's written several short stories of the
"naughty" nature. But had never envisioned herself as a writer. Just someone who
enjoyed telling a steamy story from time to time.
