August Wrap-Up

Hey guys ! So I know this is a bit late for me to post my august wrap-up but better late than never right ?? :)
So I've read a total of 8 books this month. It's quite little compared to my usual wrap-up but these last few months I've been super busy and feeling down most of the time so I don't really feel like reading or posting but I'm trying to be better so I thought why not jump back into the things that I love.

I read 3 paperback and 5 books on my kindle.
The books are :
1. City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare
2. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E.Smith
3. Bunheads by Sophie Flack
4. Beat by Vi Keeland
5. Throb by Vi Keeland
6. Fear of Falling by S.L Jennings
7. Afraid to Fly S.L Jennings
8. Fair Game Monica Murphy

1. Even though I know what's gonna happen in this book, the feels still hits me like a truck :'( And of course I'm giving this a full 5 star because it's a nice book that kinda seems childish but even adults love reading it too
2. I've been wanting to own this book for a while now and when I finally got it, I just can't seem to find the time to read it but after a long wait I finally read it and think to myself why didn't I read this book earlier. It's a nice short read, I finished this book in just an hour and I kinda wished I've read this earlier. But overall, I'm giving it a 4/5 and can I say that I totally feel Hadley and is it possible for me to find a Ollie in an airport too ?? :)
3. I saw this book in a bookstore once but I wasn't really keen on buying it because I only buy books that I know I will totally love and worth my money since books in Singapore are super expensive. So when I saw this book in my local library, I decided to pick it up. It's a nice story about life and finding out when is enough will ever be enough. The author itself was a dancer once and she gives really good insight inside a dancer's life. It deserves a 3.5/5
4&5. I found this series when I was browsing on instagram and I bought the kindle edition one and I do not regret it. It's a really nice story about love and hot guys of course, hahaha. I'm giving both books a 4/5 because they deserves it :)
6&7. So I also bought both books on my kindle and it is just amazeball. The first book got me hooks after the first few chapters, and the way Blaine take care of Kami is just nice to read and basically he's boyfriend goals !! He's so understanding and caring and sweet :) And I was intrigued when I read the blurb for the second book because it was Dominic, Kami's best friend story and his past is really tragic and I can understand why he did what he did. I'm giving the first book a 5/5 and the second book a 4/5 :)
8. I've read most of Monica Murphy's books and I was so excited when I heard that there will be a new series coming out. The blurb itself was intriguing and I love the connection between the 2 main character. Love how Shep is so persistence and I can connect with Jade on some occasion so I'm giving this book a 4.5/5. I can't wait to get my hands on the second book that will center on Gabriel, Shep's best friend :)

How about you guys ?? How many books did you read in August ?? And what was your favourite ?? Let me down below :)
