Cover Reveal : Astaroth + Giveaway

Abigale Colebrook married a man she thought would sweep her off her feet and into
the lap of luxury. Only, the man he portrayed was very different from the man he
really was. Dark secrets lay within the Colebrook Estate and she finds herself being
used as nothing more than a pawn in Lairds' sick games.

That is, until a handsome stranger rings their doorbell.

He was sent by Pesta to meet Laird Colebrook and locate the legendary statue of
Asher and Faye, but no relic could compare to the blonde beauty that swept into his
heart.

The moment he laid eyes on Abigale Colebrook, he knew he had to have her. And the
moment he kissed her, he knew no one would get in his way. It didn’t matter that
her husband was the very man he came to do business with, the very man who
controlled her every move.

He was Astaroth, one of the seven princes of the underworld, commander of forty
legions, and the leader of the seven armies--no one could take from him what he
desired.

She gave him a nervous laugh… Did he make her nervous? Of course he did. Just look
at him—he was six and a half feet of walking, talking sex. And that dream! She
couldn’t get it out of her head and sitting on the picnic table like she had, watching
him, hoping he would drop to his knees and reenact it…it was almost too much.

“No, you don’t make me nervous at all.” Lying was her only safe
answer. She dropped her gaze to their entwined hands. She had never held hands
with anyone, yet, with Roth, it seemed like the most natural thing in the world.

“I dreamed of you last night.” His thumb circled the soft skin of her hand as they
walked, and he waited for her reply.

Her voice shook as she spoke. Had he just said he dreamed of her last night? “Did
you? I hope it was a good dream."

“It was the best I’ve ever had.”

“Really? What was is about?” He had more than her curiosity piqued.

“I’m not a kiss and tell kinda guy,” he joked.

Abby knocked her hip into his, knocking him off balance as they walked. “Oh,
really? So it was a kissing dream about me. Very interesting. I thought you said you
had a dream about eating your favorite meal

“Oh, I ate.”

He playfully swayed his hip, knocking her back, but before she could stumble, he had
her in his arms, exactly where she had wanted to be. Even though she knew what
she was feeling was wrong, she couldn’t help what he brought out in her.

She loved this new side of Roth; it almost seemed playful. The smile on his face as he
looked down at her and their easy banter was a stark contrast to the lethal
presence he gave off and the deep passion she saw in those gunmetal eyes.

In his arms, she had to strain her neck to look up at him. She could feel the rapid
beat of his heart as he held her, and her tongue darted out of her mouth,
running along her lower lip. Again, her mind thought of how good his lips had felt on
hers when Laird had nearly caught them. And today, out here in the woods, they
were alone, no one to stop them.

Cover Reveal : The Crashing Series

Crashing : The Wedding (The Crashing #0.5)

**This Book is a Standalone** It is a companion novella to The Crashing Series and
takes place before Crashing Back Down (book 1 in the series).

Well this is freaking great…

Right when my best friend’s wedding was in full swing, the flowers were paid for,
the dresses were being tailored and the bachelorette party was planned and
nonrefundable, the bomb gets dropped right on my doorstep at four in the morning.

“The Wedding is OFF!” Mags yelled right as I opened the door to my apartment.

Oh hell no! We’re not canceling these plans. I will make this work. I will get her and
Randy on track to walking down that freaking isle. I am getting to go on a
bachelorette weekend vacation to party with my best friend! This is happening
whether Mags and Randy like it or not.

That’s what a best friend is for, right?!

***18+ for sexual situations, cursing, and adult content.***

Excerpt

In my boots and cutoff jeans, I pulled open the heavy wooden door of The Saloon.
Whiskey and cigarette smoke burned my nostrils as I weaved around the packed bar
trying to find everyone. All of a sudden, I was scooped up from behind by my waist,
feet dangling in the air and the sound of Mitch’s voice trying to yell over the music,

“Mags! Found her! I found Cali!”

I playfully struggled in his arms, whipping around to throw my arms around one of
my best friends in the world. Mags, Randy, and Walker weren’t too far behind and
right as Walker put a drink in my hand, Mags’ and my favorite line dancing song
came on. We handed our beers off to the guys and darted to the middle of the
wooden floor to boot stomp to Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne.

By the end of the fast-paced song, we were sweating and panting as we giggled off
the dance floor.

As he handed me back my beer, Randy shouted, “Thanks for everything, Cal. Mags
told me you made her see clearly again.”

I shoved his shoulder. “Don’t mention it. Besides, who can ever deny making sure
true love finds a way?”

He laughed at me and hugged me around my shoulders. It was palpable what a good
guy Randy was and how much he cared about everyone. It was also so freaking
shocking that he and Walker were as good of friends as they were.

Walker was a two-timing, womanizing bag of dicks that had no respect for anyone
except himself, and I felt like I was the only one that saw through the fakeness of his
coy smile and good looks.

“So how does it feel to be out of the bar business for good?” Mags beamed at me as
Randy wrapped his hands around her middle.

I took a long swig. “Fucking fantastic!”

“Can you believe we’re all growing up?” Walker chimed in, handing each of us a shot.

I smelled the straight Jameson, shivers immediately radiating down my spine.
“Whiskey? Really?”

Walker winked and held his shot glass in the air to make a toast. “To Cali and her
new job, and to us, the five best friends!”

I scraped up the last of the ice cream and licked my spoon clean as he laughed. I liked his
laugh. A lot. It was rich, and warm, and infectious. It made me happy.

I dropped my spoon so it clattered into my bowl and jumped down from my perch. This was
absurd. A laugh shouldn’t affect me that much. It was all just… too much. I felt like I was losing
control of the situation. He made me feel things I didn’t want to feel. He made me want. What, I
wasn’t sure. But I wanted it with a deep ache that was akin to pain. For no discernible reason,
tears burned at the back of my throat. I tried to clear it and placed my bowl in the sink before I
turned to Logan with what I hoped was a sultry smile.
I needed to take back some control. And I knew just how to do that.

He straightened and eyed me warily as I walked up to him and slid my hands around his waist
before stepping in close. I leaned up for a kiss, but he turned his head, and my lips brushed his
jaw instead.

“What?” I asked.

“I’m not going to let you use me to chase away your demons, Zoe.”

His words were said quietly, tenderly, but I flinched anyway. I tried to back away, but he held me
in place and wrapped me in a hug. Then he kissed my forehead.
“If this is where you want the night to end up, fine. But it will be on my terms, all right?”

He paused and looked into my eyes as if searching for something. I don’t know what he was
looking for. I don’t know if he found it. I had a feeling I really didn’t know much at all. I nodded
slowly. After a long moment, he leaned down and kised me.

That kiss. My God. I hadn’t known what the word truly meant until he showed me. It had nothing
to do with the press of lips to lips. The slide of warmth as he tilted my head back and deepened
the kiss had nothing on the peace that filtered through my mind. I sank into his touch, and the
endless, screaming voices that plagued me, all of them my own, fell still. Gone were the
thoughts of inadequacy, the mental rakes and prods that urged me to use sex as a weapon, a
tool to get what I wanted. They all seemed silly and childish compared to the truth.
This might actually be Heaven. Or as close as my battered soul could come. True, blessed
silence. There was nothing but Logan and the subtle build of strummed emotion.

I’d seen a street violinist once. He was standing on a street corner, his case open at his feet and
overflowing with dollar bills. But he didn’t even notice. He’d had his eyes screwed shut as he
sawed his bow across the strings and soulful, heart-wrenching music poured forth. You could
tell his whole being was funneled through those notes. And when the song ended, the strings
continued to vibrate, pulsing with the aftermath of the song and lending a haunting encore that
stayed with me for days.

This kiss was that song. Months of pent-up emotion burrowing down into my soul and wrapping
around the essence of who I was. And my mind, that cursed thing that screamed and wailed
and threw up wall after wall to keep the world safely at bay? All that was left was one last echo,
an almost silent buzz that allowed me to exist in only this moment.

“I really want to keep going. More than anything.” I moved my hands to the waist of
his jeans as his eyes darkened. “Can you lose these?”

He stood up, watching me. My hand reached out slowly, and I lowered the zipper.
The jeans dropped down to the floor, and he stepped out of them. He was wearing
black boxer briefs. Nice. I let my gaze travel town to the bulge straining against the
fabric and looked back up at his face as I stood up in front of him, pulling off my own
jeans. He kept his eyes on mine, and I hesitated but decided to keep my shirt on.

Finally, he glanced at my exposed underwear. “Those are nice.”

I looked down. They had the Wonder Woman logo on them. Oops. I bit my lip, but
then grinned. “I didn’t know we were going to be doing stuff today.”

“Doing stuff. Brooke, you have such a way with words.” He leaned down and started
kissing my neck as he turned us so he could sit down, guiding me along and pulling
me onto his lap with my legs on either side of him. My hips moved forward, and now
that the jeans were gone, I could feel so much more of him. Chris groaned and
grasped each side of my face so our lips met in a frantic kiss, and his hands slid
down my arms, over my hips, where he pulled me back. My body tried to move
toward him in protest, but his strong hands kept me in place.

He stopped kissing me but kept his mouth close enough to mine so I could feel his
lips move. “Stay still for a minute?” His voice was shaky, and one hand stayed on my
hip while the other traveled down, tracing the edge of my underwear as he made his
way down toward my core. His breath was hot against my mouth as his fingers
stopped, still touching the edge of my underwear. The only difference now was that
he could move his hand a half inch and be right where I needed him.

Something needed to happen to get rid of this ache. Anything. I couldn’t press my
legs together because they were spread out over Chris and I needed him to touch me.
I wanted him so bad I was close to begging.

He took a choked breath. “Can I—”

“Oh my God, stop asking!” I gripped his arms. “Please. Just do it.”

Excerpt

I hadn’t realized Zane was finished until he sat the cup in front of me. He followed
my line of sight as I looked away from the chair he’d been sitting in about six months
ago when he held me as I cried. I closed my eyes, pushing that thought away. That
girl was broken. She was damaged. That wasn’t me. Not anymore.

“Lili,” he whispered, and I cringed.

“Don’t call me that,” I said automatically, letting out my breath in a rush as the
realization of what I’d said struck me. I opened my eyes, grabbing the mug. “Sorry.”

“What do you mean?” he finally asked as I sipped slowly on the hot liquid. It burned
on the way down but I ignored it, needing the excuse not to answer that question.

“Just an automatic response. I’m fine,” I answered, blowing off what was happening.

“Would you stop fucking saying that?” he snapped, causing me to jump a little.

Startled, I kept my eyes on the mug but neither of us moved as we waited for the
other to take the next step. Finally, I lowered the glass to the table.

“What would you like me to say? Hmm?” I knew I should stop, walk away now and
not make this worse, but I no longer cared. “You want to know why I told you not to
call me that?” I looked up, meeting his eyes. “Because I’m. Not. Fucking. Her. I’m not
that girl.”

“Yes, you are—“ he started but I cut in before he could finish.

“No.” I laughed but the sound was hollow. “No, I’m not. You see this face and you
think I’m her but I’m not. You’d be closer to the truth if you called Kaitlyn by that
name.”

He flinched back from the name and I waivered, the part of me still able to feel guilt
worming her way back in as I watched his expression.

“I should go,” I said, shoving myself up and away from his grip as he reached for me.

I felt out of control and that was one thing I couldn’t handle these days.

“No. Fuck. Don’t leave. I just…” He stood, pacing away from me for a moment and
locking his hands behind his head. Everything about him was familiar, from the line
of his back to his mannerisms, to his frustrations. All of it was calling out to a part of
me I wanted to find again but I didn’t know how.

My eyes burned and I knew I was
about to cry. I wasn’t ready for this. I’d thought I could handle it, I’d pushed myself
to go to the roof and try with Zane because I knew I loved him. I love him so much.
But I didn’t know how to do it anymore. I couldn’t seem to keep ahold of myself, of
who I used to be. I was lost.
